Nov 1 2016 - What Are We Doing In Class Today?

Entrance Ticket - Please find a current event relating to Cyber Security,  Find and event, news story, or article that happened in the last month that relates to Cyber Security. See Current Event Rubric

Class Agenda:

  • Current Event - 30 min
    • If you get done early... 
      • Jupiter (do any outstanding Assignment), and then:
      • Udemy - work on the class you picked 
      • Work on Cyber Project
      • Play Hacknet
  • Clean Room 
  • Cisco C++ 
    • Blog Page for C++ Class 
    •  Review Chapter 1 section 5 on Character Variables
    • See gitHub example code_1_5_17
    • Write a program that prints out a formatted  message. 
      • Open ideone.com and create a new program
      • see my github examples, see your current ideone examples
      • use the escape characters \n \t \a \r
      • print some int variables, use math

  • Cyber Projects - 30 min - This is the end.  You should have your presentations done!.  
  • Due Yesterday - Turn your team slides in to Jupiter. Just one team member needs to turn it in. What will be Due for your team
    • Slide that list each member and breaks down what each team member has done
    • 15- 30  min presentation (this is at least 15 – 20 slides)
    • Possibly a 15-30 min lab that the other students have to do
  • Due Wed Nov 2 - Individual report. Each of you turn this in.
    • Intro: What your project was, and what you did
    • Body: Specifically what you did (2-3 paragraphs)
    • Conclusion: Did it work, Challenges, how you solved them?
    • If you were going to keep working, what would be next?
